When Is GTA 6 Coming Out?

With GTA 6 officially revealed, now games can shift their focus to when the open-world epic will be released.

After years of working away in secrecy, renowned developer Rockstar Games finally pulled the curtain back on the sixth mainline entry into its vaunted sandbox gaming franchise known as Grand Theft Auto.

The debut trailer came after months of speculation, revealing a new main character for the series, the return to the beloved Vice City region, and stunning next-gen graphics never seen before in the series.

But one thing that was missing was an exact release date.

When Will GTA 6 Come Out?

Along with the new trailer for GTA 6 came the nebulous release year of 2025.

While no exact day or month was given with the title's 2025 release window, there are a few hints out there indicating when gamers can expect GTA 6 to hit store shelves.

GTA publisher Take-Two Interactive previously alluded to the highly-anticipated title coming at some point during fiscal year 2025.

Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick teased in a 2023 quarterly earning press release that "fiscal 2025" would serve as an inflection point for the company.  He cited "several groundbreaking titles" coming to market that would result in "over $1 billion in Adjusted Unrestricted Operating Cash Flow," which likely includes GTA 6:

"Looking ahead, Fiscal 2025 is a highly anticipated year for our Company... For the last several years, we have been preparing our business to release an incredibly robust pipeline of projects that we believe will take our company to even greater levels of success. In Fiscal 2025, we expect to enter this new era by launching several groundbreaking titles that we believe will set new standards in our industry and enable us to achieve over $8 billion in Net Bookings and over $1 billion in Adjusted Unrestricted Operating Cash Flow. We expect to sustain this momentum by delivering even higher levels of operating results in Fiscal 2026 and beyond."

That would mean GTA 6 will likely be released sometime in Q1 2025, before the end of Take-Two's fiscal 2025 (which runs from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025).

The gaming giant already confirmed - thanks to a press release written as a part of GTA 6's trailer debut - that this 2025 release will just be for the console version of the game.

Take-Two listed "PlayStation 5 computer entertainment systems and Xbox Series X|S games and entertainment systems" as the only available launch platforms, meaning PC gamers will have to wait until a later date for the upcoming title.

GTA's Release Date Comes With Controversy

While it is exciting for GTA 6 to finally have been shown off in an official capacity (following widespread leaks and plenty of misinformation), some gamers are not too impressed by the game's 2025 release timing.

By the time GTA 6 was revealed, it had already been more than a decade since the last mainline title in the series hit store shelves. That means that if GTA 6 sticks to this 2025 release window, it will be nearly 12 years, making it the longest gap between Grand Theft Auto titles by a landslide.

Many had assumed - given the long development time between GTA 5 and 6 - 2024 would be the year of GTA 6. That is why it was so shocking to many that the title's announcement came with a 2025 date.

Within minutes of the trailer's debut, fans took to various online spheres to voice their disdain for the 2025 release window.

Gamers like Govermental53 on Reddit instantly wrote off the next twelve months, posting, "F*** 2024 I WANT TO LIVE IN 2025!"

Others (like Out of Context Humans on X) asked Rockstar what they have been doing for "10+ years:"

"Hurry the fuck up you’ve been making this for 10+ years."

What may have compounded this anger is the fact that so many gamers had also been expecting the title to come to PC day and date with its console counterparts.

Despite Rockstar traditionally separating console and PC releases of their titles, many were under the presumption the developer would opt to release everything simultaneously this time around, as large swaths of the gaming industry have done over the past few years.

So for those who were holding out hope for a PC release, this 2025 date likely means a mid-to-late 2026 release for their version of the game, as Rockstar usually takes 12-16 months to port their titles to the PC platform.

GTA 6 is currently slated to release sometime in 2025 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Arkane Studios Games Massively Discounted In Steam Sale

Ahead of Steam’s Autumn sale, Valve’s digital storefront has slashed prices across all of Arkane Studios’ critically acclaimed games like Deathloop, Dishonored and Prey. Arkane is known for delivering games with impressive stealth mechanics, and right now is a great time to get familiar with the developer’s titles as the studio recovers from the ill-fated release of Redfall. While the co-op shooter didn’t perform well with critics or gamers, there’s no denying that Arkane’s expertise in the immersive-sim genre has led to some incredible, industry-defining games.

Arkane Steam Sale India Prices

Deathloop

Deathloop takes the tropes of a time loop narrative and adds a co-op twist to it in a way that only Arkane can. The game was released to critical acclaim back in 2021, thanks to many gameplay mechanics that it lifted directly from Dishonored and expanded upon. In Deathloop, you play Colt Vahn who must execute his targets in one perfect loop while stranded on the mysterious Blackreef island. His only problem is rival assassin Julianna, who can be either controlled by the game’s AI or another player online. Deathloop is available at an 80% discount on Steam priced at Rs. 499. The game’s official soundtrack is also on sale for Rs. 224, along with the Deluxe Pack priced at Rs. 499. Deathloop: Deluxe Edition is available for Rs. 699 which includes the base game and its soundtrack.

Prey

Prey was nothing short of a revelation when it came to level design back in 2017. The game drops the player into a desolate space station inhabited by a hostile alien force. Prey is on sale at a massive 90% discount for Rs. 139, with its highly replayable Mooncrash expansion, featuring procedurally generated levels, going for Rs. 359. The Digital Deluxe Edtion of Prey is also on sale for Rs. 359 and includes the Mooncrash DLC.

Dishonored

Dishonored tells the story of Corvo Attano who must rise above the evil forces trying to snatch away the Empress of the Isles, Emily Kaldwin. Dishonored features a flexible combat system that rewards both stealth and melee approaches, along with many supernatural abilities that turn Corvo into a master assassin. Dishonored is available for Rs. 167, while its DLCs The Knife of Dunwall, and The Brigmore Witches are also heavily discounted. You can get all of the game’s additional content for Rs. 249 with Dishonored: Definitive Edition.

Dishonored 2 and Death of the Outsider

Dishonored 2 improves on every mechanic and story idea introduced in the first game to deliver a near-perfect sequel. Players can now choose to play as either Corvo or Emily, with both heroes featuring different abilities that change each playthrough. Dishonored 2 is on sale for Rs. 139, while its spinoff Death of the Outsider is on sale for Rs. 279.

Arkane Studios Bundles

If you want to buy multiple Arkane games, you can take advantage of the many bundles that Steam is selling at discounted rates:

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider Deluxe Bundle (Includes Dishonored 2 and Death of the Outsider) - Rs. 599

Prey + Dishonored 2 Bundle - Rs. 226 Arkane

20th Anniversary Bundle - Rs. 844

While all of these games are heavily discounted, you can also get some of Arkane’s best titles with the Arkane 20th Anniversary Bundle, which includes Arx Fatalis, Dishonored: Definitive Edtion, Prey, Dishonored 2, Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic for just Rs. 844. The Arkane Studios sale will last till November 21, so there’s plenty of time to get these games at their discounted prices on PC.

Dungeons & Dragons: How to Build the Perfect Circle of the Moon Druid

One of the best things about Dungeons & Dragons is that there are an almost infinite number of ways to play. Each class has a plethora of options and subclasses to fit pretty much any play style. If a player wants to be a free-loving Druid that's all about peace and healing, they certainly can, but they also have the option of being a bestial powerhouse that protects nature. With the right choices, Druids can be just as fierce as any of the martial classes, if not more so.

The Circle of the Moon subclass takes the Druid's most unique feature, Wild Shape, and turns it into their greatest weapon. This improved Wild Shape turns the Druid into an unrelenting beast on the battlefield. There are several ways to build a powerful Circle of the Moon Druid, but certain things need to be kept in mind to make them as capable as possible.

Circle of the Moon Druid Build Summary

Ability Scores (in order of importance)  Wisdom, Constitution, Dexterity, Intelligence, Charisma, Strength
 Race Hill Dwarf
Feats  Mobile, Resilient, Sentinel
Animals  Dire Wolf, Giant Scorpion, Giant Eagle

What Is the Circle of the Moon in DnD 5e?

The Circle of the Moon Druid is popular among player who want to have an edge over others. These aren't just peaceful healers that cast spells; they're also warriors who are formidable against enemies. The best thing you should do to maximize your Druid's warrior status is focus on Wisdom and Constitution scores, while also keeping in mind that Mobile, Resilient and Sentinel feats are a must. Additionally, the Hill Dwarf race is a proven benefit for the Circle of the Moon subclass and the Dire Wolf, Giant Scorpion and Giant Eagle are exceptional animals to turn into.

Maximize Wisdom and Constitution for the Circle of the Moon Druid

Every Druid benefits from a high Wisdom score regardless of their subclass. Wisdom determines how many spells a Druid can prepare in a day and how high their spell save DC is. Although Circle of the Moon Druids won't be using spells too often in combat, it is useful to have magic available to fall back on when players run out of Wild Shape uses.

A high Constitution is also a must for a Circle of the Moon Druid. In fact, players should strive to have a higher Constitution than Wisdom if they can. Circle of the Moon Druids can transform into beasts of a higher challenge rating than normal Druids, which means they can be more powerful creatures that have more health and can do more damage. However, they still turn back into their normal forms when their beast form reaches zero hit points. High Constitution ensures sure these Druids don't go unconscious too quickly when they are face-to-face with strong foes.

Best Racial Choices For Circle of the Moon Druids

Pretty much any race can work well with the Circle of the Moon Druid. Druids can choose to use the physical stats of the animal they have turned into while using Wild Shape, which can help cover for any low Dexterity or Strength scores. That being said, Dwarves tend to outshine others when it comes to this subclass. Dwarves get a +2 to Constitution and Dwarven Combat Training, which grants proficiency with a number of weapons. All of this will turn a player's Druid into a tank for damage while still being able to dish out pain when not using their Wild Shape.

The Hill Dwarf subrace makes this choice even better with its feature. Hill Dwarfs get an additional +1 to Wisdom, which is great for spells. Dwarven Toughness also further increases the Druid's hit points with each level gained, which will allow the Circle of the Moon Druid to constantly frustrate enemies by refusing to go down no matter how much damage they take. A Variant Human or a Firbolg are also useful choices for character race.

The Best Feats For Circle of the Moon Druids

While it may prevent the player from maxing out their Wisdom or Constitution, they have the option of taking a feat at certain levels. Circle of the Moon Druids won't be able to cast spells while in Wild Shape until level 18, so it's best to avoid feats that affect spells in favor of feats that still provide benefits while in Wild Shape.

Mobile makes whatever speedy beast the Druid turns into even faster. It also allows the player to employ hit-and-run tactics against enemies without having to worry about attacks of opportunity. Resilient is also a good choice, increasing an ability score of the player's choice by one and giving proficiency in saving throws in that ability. Choosing Constitution means more health and an easier time maintaining concentration on spells even while in Wild Shape. Finally, Sentinel is a great option how those who want to make sure that enemies can't escape them or harm their less tanky allies.

The Best Animals For Circle of the Moon Druids

Circle of the Moon Druids have a wider range of animals that they can turn into compared to other Druids. At second level, they can turn into a beast with a challenge rating of one. The challenge rating increases to three at sixth level. Since Wild Shape will be used in combat more than spells, it's best to have a list of animals prepared that you can quickly turn into.

An animal that is great for land combat is the dire wolf, as they are great for tracking and stealth. They also have Pack Tactics, which gives advantage on attacks as long as an ally is within five feet. A giant scorpion or giant spider is also a viable option since they have a lot of health and can deal poison damage. Once the Druid gains the ability to turn into a flying beast, the giant eagle is a great option that's big enough to pick up allies and fly them around the battlefield. It's best to work with your Dungeon Master to come up with a suitable list of beasts that your Druid would know to transform into.

Can Your PC Run The Last of Us Part I?

The Last of Us might be the biggest name in video games right now. Following a wildly successful TV adaptation that has even surpassed House of the Dragon in viewership, The Last of Us continues making waves by bringing The Last of Us Part I out of PlayStation exclusivity and making it available for PCs. With all the success the franchise has garnered lately, there are going to be a lot of PC players who will be interested in picking up this game.

However, given the intense graphics utilized in The Last of Us Part I and the fact that it was previously a PlayStation 5 exclusive, many PC gamers may be wondering if their hardware will be able to handle it. As that is likely going to be the deciding factor for many who want to buy this game, here's a rundown of the PC specifications required to play The Last of Us Part I.

The Last Of Us Part I's CPU Requirements

CPU Type

Minimum System Requirements

Recommended System Requirements

Performance/Ultra Mode Requirements

Intel

Core i7-4770K

Core i7-8700

Core i5 12600K

AMD

Ryzen 5 1500X

Ryzen 5 3600X

Ryzen 9 5900X

The minimum CPU requirement needed to run The Last of Us Part I is either an Intel Core i7-4770K or an AMD Ryzen 5 1500X. For such a high-end game, this is actually a surprisingly low starting point. In particular, the Intel Core i7-4770K Processor turns 10 years old this year, so most recently bought or built Gaming PCs may already meet this requirement. Recommended settings require either an Intel Core i7-8700 or an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X. These processors are roughly only five years old, which makes for a bit of a leap forward, though even this is likely still very manageable for many.

Further, Naughty Dog has listed requirements for both Performance Mode and Ultra Mode settings of the game. CPU requirements for the highest of these mean either an Intel Core i5 12600K or an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, both of which are less than two years old and still sell at a high price. So while many players might already have the required processor to play The Last of Us Part I at the minimum or recommended setting, it's likely that very few are going to be able to use Ultra Mode.

The Last Of Us Part I's GPU Requirements

GPU Type

Minimum System Requirements

Recommended System Requirements

Performance/Ultra Mode Requirements

NVIDIA

GeForce GTX 970 (4 GB)

GeForce RTX 2070 (4 GB)

GeForce RTX 4080

AMD

Radeon 470 (8 GB)

Radeon RX 5800 XT (8 GB)

RX 7900XT

In terms of graphics cards, players will need either an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (4 GB) or an AMD Radeon 470 (4 GB). These were released in 2014 and 2016, respectively, so it may continue to be the case that many interested players might already have the components they need. For recommended settings, players will need either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super (8 GB) or an AMD Radeon RX 5800 XT (8 GB). This makes sense as Returnal lists similar GPU requirements, and that is another game with high-end graphics that was previously a PlayStation 5 exclusive.

The game's Ultra requirements include either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or an AMD RX 7900XT. These graphics cards are both still under six months old at this time, making them without a doubt the biggest barrier between the recommended and Ultra modes.

The Last Of Us Part I's RAM and Storage Requirements

PC Specifications

Minimum System Requirements

Recommended System Requirements

Performance/Ultra Mode Requirements

RAM

16 GB

-

32 GB

Storage Space

100 GB (SSD)

-

-

Across all versions, The Last of Us Part I requires 100 GB of storage space with an SSD recommendation, though for RAM, it requires 16 GB at the minimum and recommended level, with a jump to 32 GB at the Performance and Ultra levels. The 16 GB of RAM requirement has been becoming increasingly common among big titles in recent memory, so many players may already be able to meet that benchmark, though the 32 GB goal may be another category where many players fall short. All put together, though, most dedicated PC gamers will likely be able to play The Last of Us Part I at the minimum and recommended levels with little issue.

Wolverine Fans Believe an Iconic X-Men Voice Actor Has Joined the Marvel Game

According to popular fan speculation, Marvel's Wolverine may have already cast its Logan.

After he posted an Instagram video, gamers began speculating that veteran Wolverine voice actor Steve Blum would play the titular character in Insomniac's upcoming game. In the clip, Blum stands in a recording booth with dots on his face for motion capture and notes he's currently recording lines for a game, but he can't reveal the title. Though not concrete, many fans of the character speculate this points to work on Insomniac's Wolverine game.

Some fans pointed out that Blum recently portrayed Wolverine in Marvel's Midnight Suns. Similarly, Marvel's Spider-Man star Yuri Lowenthal reprised his role as Peter Parker in the Insomniac games for Midnight Suns. Blum has also played Wolverine multiple times in animated series, including Marvel Anime: X-Men, Wolverine and the X-Men and Ultimate Spider-Man. Additionally, Blum lent his voice to Logan for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order and Lego Marvel Super Heroes.

Marvel's Wolverine Violent, R-rated Tone

News about Marvel's Wolverine has remained scarce in the years since PlayStation announced the title in 2021. Recently, gaming insider Jeff Grubb teased that he'd heard Wolverine would take a more violent, bloody tone compared to similar Marvel games in recent years. "Hard-R is what they're going for. It's one of the concepts that I've heard," Grubb said. "I think one of the cool things about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was 'Hey, the lightsabers slice droids in half. And then the bad part was when you go up against Stormtroopers, it doesn't do that. Now, I'm mostly okay with that. I think with Wolverine though, put us into an environment where those claws are going to work as claws."

Although details remain scarce, Marvel Games' creative vice president Bill Rosemann teased hidden details in Wolverine's teaser trailer shortly after its release. "We will eventually reveal when Wolverine is aimed to launch. For more, go back and study those trailers - they are packed with details and Easter eggs," Rosemann said. Fans discovered several of these, including a nod to Logan's first comics appearance in The Incredible Hulk #181 with a license plate reading "HLK181." Others noted that the chalkboard behind the bar reads "The Princess Bar," hinting at Marvel's Wolverine's location in the fictional city of Madripoor.

Marvel's Wolverine is expected to launch sometime in 2023.

DC's Gotham Knights Receives Exciting Release Update

The anticipation surrounding WB Games Montreal's open-world superhero game Gotham Knights has been sky-high, mainly due to the inclusion of several famous heroes from the Batman mythos. The upcoming title will feature four playable characters, including Nightwing, Red Hood, Batgirl, and Robin. The story will revolve around the four heroes protecting Gotham after the untimely death of the Dark Knight.

Gotham Knights executive producer Fleur Marty previously revealed that the game's combat system will be much more enhanced than the Arkham games, saying that it will focus on co-op brawling. Not only that, but its open-world map will also allow players to explore the infamous Arkham Asylum and it has been confirmed that this will be a new version that could surprise gamers everywhere.

Now, in anticipation of its release, the game has received an exciting update.

DC's Gotham Knights Achieves Important Milestone

Warner Bros. Games Montreal officially announced that Gotham Knights has officially gone gold, meaning that the game is finished and ready to go into production to be shipped. The team expressed its excitement on social media ahead of its release this October.

This milestone also means that the upcoming DC video game won't be delayed from its current release date.

"The whole Gotham Knights team is proud to announce that we're officially GOLD! See you in October!"

Will Gotham Knights Receive A Sequel?
Gotham Knights officially going gold is a positive development for the game, and this should ease the concerns of those who already pre-ordered it ahead of its release. While it's unknown if a day one patch will be released, it's reasonable to assume that it will be included, considering that this update is common for new games despite going gold.

Gotham Knights was first announced back in 2020, meaning that it took two years for the developers to fully finish the game, much of that due to the pandemic. Still, given the various delays that the game experienced, many would agree that the game's "going gold" milestone was worth the wait.

Marketing for the Batman spin-off video game has also been ramping up in the past weeks, thus building more anticipation for its release. IGN recently released the first 16 minutes of Batgirl's gameplay alongside a deeper look at Red Hood's combat style and high-level builds.

It is unknown if more trailers will be unveiled in the coming weeks, but WB Games Montreal will surely reveal more gameplay secrets and combat tips as it approaches its October 25 release date.

Orlando Bloom Swashbuckles Again in 'King of Avalon' Game Trailer

To all the Legolas and the Will Turner girlies, this one is for you. Collider is pleased to present the exclusive new trailer for King of Avalon, a free-to-play mobile strategy game inspired by Arthurian legend which features Orlando Bloom in full knight-in-shining-armor mode as he vanquishes enemies on an overrun and smokey battlefield.

In the newest iteration of the game, Frost & Flame: King of Avalon, players can experience an array of new features as they lead their army to take the throne and breed dragons to help them in their endeavors. As of today, new players can also unlock playable character Orlando the Nightshard, whose likeness will be awfully familiar to anyone who is a fan of Bloom's work — or who maybe had a poster or two (or twelve) of his face on their walls when they were a tween.

In the trailer, Bloom is seen playing a knight whose forces are slowly being overrun by the enemy. He takes out several enemies with his sword before deciding to call for reinforcements and orders one of his men to "blow the horn." When that soldier falls, he takes on the task for himself, only for the camera to cut to a man's modern-day bedroom where the horn call appears as a cellphone notification. Unwilling to be woken up, the man Bloom summons silences his phone, and mutes the horn as well. In desperation, Bloom calls for a bow and arrow, sending Legolas fans spiraling in the process.

Along with the new trailer, game developer FunPlus released an exciting behind-the-scenes look at the making of the commercial, which shows the level of Hollywood detail they put into the project, from the armor, to the period-accurate weapons, to the detail and care put into the larger-than-life dragons.

Bloom is perhaps best known for his iconic roles in the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit films as Legolas, an elf and incredible archer and in the Pirates of the Carribbean franchise as the blacksmith-turned-pirate with a heart of gold Will Turner. His career has spanned over 20 years and included leading roles in Troy, The Three Musketeers, and Tour de Pharmacy. He most recently appeared in the film Needle in a Timestack and currently stars on the Prime Video series Carnival Row.

Orlando the Nightshard is free to download for King of Avalon players now. Watch the trailer below:
